The Forming Mold is
machined in two successive steps.
The outer shape of the mold block will not be machined. One roughing and one finishing
operation will be defined for the cavity. A semi-finish operation does not have to be
defined. In SOLIDCAM2000 a semi-finish cut
is defined using exactly the same steps as in a finish operation - by just leaving a semi
finish offset on the model geometry.
Since you are now quite familiar with the basic functions of SOLIDCAM2000
after doing the first exercise, some details will not be explained again. If you get stuck
at any step, refer to the first example or to the Online-help. |
