Geometry Shaders

Geometry shaders allow you to create geometry in the mental ray renderer at render time.

You can:

• Get a geometry shader object and apply geometry shaders to it.

• Apply materials and textures to geometry shader objects within XSI.

For information about creating your own geometry shaders, see the mental ray documentation (available in the Doc\mental_ray subfolder of the directory where XSI is installed).
