There are over 130 compositing and effects operators in SOFTIMAGE|XSI, and it’s not always immediately obvious what each of them does. Although each operator’s parameters are described in the XSI Reference, the following chapter has been included to provide brief descriptions of each operator and a list of their required and optional inputs.
As well, the final section in this chapter features images of each of the 48 painterly effects applied to sample images.
