Member Release Tool
To toggle the end release condition of any member between fixed and pinned, just activate the tool and click on the member end.
You can also draw a window (or use the crossing line selection option) around groups of members to pin both ends of several members at one time.

Caution: When you create a node it is initially free to rotate. When you create a member (with the beam element type) it is initially fixed to the nodes at its ends. If you add releases then you must ensure that at least one member is fixed to each node to prevent that node from being unstable (that is free to rotate in space).
Tip: To fix released member ends you can simply press and hold the Ctrl key down and repeat the windowing process. If you want to adjust the released degrees of freedom (in a 3D model) you need to right click on the Member Releases icon and change the default release options and then window the members again to apply these new releases.
