To display influence line diagrams

In order to display influence line diagrams, you must first perform a moving load analysis using a vehicle load pattern with a single load as the moving load. S-Frame automatically recognizes this special case and creates influence line details, rather than moving load ones.
Help: For an example that includes the generation of an influence line diagram see Defining Moving Loads.
1. Click on the Influence Line Diagram from the toolbox. The Data Bar will reconfigure accordingly.

2. Enter the number of the Member for which you want to see influence lines.
3. Enter the distance along the member by entering the Dist (X/L) value in which you express the value as a ratio of the full length of the member.
Example: To see the influence line for a point ½ way along the member you enter 0.5.
4. Select the force component whose influence line you want to view from the list box.
5. Click Accept Data ( ) to display the influence line for that point.
