RecurDyn Menus and Tools
RecurDyn employs relative coordinates in formulating the governing equations of motion and kinematics. RecurDyn has a user-friendly modeler that consists of a database and a view manager. Displayed entities on the screen can be selected, copied, deleted, mirror. Layers can be used to segment a complex model into logical sub-models. RecurDyn supports the multiple models at the same time. Plotting is done within plot windows as part of the RecurDyn modeler. the database window displays the contents of the currently active model.
