Structural Display Units |
The units that will be displayed when selecting sizes for structural components such as Standard Beams or Angle Irons. |

Vessel/Radial Platform Clearance |
The default value for the space between a vertical vessel and a radial platform. Radial platforms may only be placed for a vertical vessel in plan view.

The distance from the floor to the bottom of the window sill when a window is placed.

The distance from the base of the door to the centre of the door knob for single and double doors when in elevation view.

Stairs Width |
The width of the stairs when displayed in plan or front elevation view.

|
Tread Length for Spiral Stairways |
The width of the stairs from the outside of the vessel to the outside of the stairs when a spiral staircase is placed.

Average Riser for Stairs |
The riser height for stairs is calculated based on the overall vertical distance of the staircase. The riser height, or the vertical distance of each individual step will be calculated such that the average value for multiple staircases or various sizes will be equal to the defined value. |

Maximum Riser Height |
The riser height for stairs is calculated based on the overall vertical distance of the staircase. The riser height, or the vertical distance of each individual step will be calculated such that it will not exceed this value. |

Ladder Width |
The space between ladder legs when a ladder is placed in either plan or elevation view.
|
|
Clearance Between Ladder Rungs / Obstruction |
The distance from the middle of the ladder rung and the edge of the vessel or object that the ladder is placed against. This applies only to ladders placed in elevation view.

|
Ladder Hoop Radius |
The radius of the ladder cage symbol when the ladder is placed in plan view with a ladder cage.
|
|
Ladder Rung Thickness |
The thickness of the ladder rungs on ladder objects that are placed in either plan or elevation view.
|
|
Number of Rungs Above a Platform |
The number of rungs to appear above the top platform height that is defined during the placement of a ladder in elevation view.
|
|
Spacing Between Ladder Rungs |
The distance from the bottom of one set of rungs to the bottom of the adjacent rung when a ladder is placed in elevation view.

|
Linetype for Steel’s Hidden Lines |
The linetype to be used for hidden lines on steel components, such as Angle Irons and Wide Flanges. The options are Hidden and Dashed. |
