The settings for AutoELECTRIC have been divided into five areas:

·         General Drawing Parameters

·         Scale Factors

·         Scaling Variables

·         Dimensioning Variables

·         Layers

In earlier releases of AutoELECTRIC, these settings were contained in LISP files in the AutoELECTRIC directory.  To import settings from previous versions, please refer to Creating a New Project Using 2002 or 2004 Standard Settings.

Drawings that are created in schematic mode are in a real world or 1:1 scale.  Drawings created in layout mode require a scale factor to be defined.  Many of the options below, such as line thicknesses, scale factors and text heights will be multiplied by the scale factor in layout mode.
