Pipe Spec |
When this value is set to ON and Valve Appearance 2 is set to Show Flanged as per Spec, the valves will show flanges if they are flanged in the active piping specification for the desired size. When this value is set to OFF and Valve Appearance 2 is set to Show Flanged as per Spec, the valve appearance will follow the setting for Valve Appearance 1. |
|
Spec Check |
When this value is set to ON, the user will be prompted to select When you insert affected components, dialog boxes prompt you to select from a variety of spec options associated with that component. For example, when you insert flanged or welded ball valves, check valves and plug valves, a dialog box prompts you to select a valve type. When you insert screwed/socket weld valves, a dialog box prompts you to select a valve rating. |
|
Valve Tagging Option |
When this option is turned ON, a valve tag will be placed for every valve that is added to the drawing. The valve tag used is from the active spec for the specified valve. When the option is turned OFF, no valve tag will be placed when the valve is inserted. |
|
Valve Appearance 1 |
This setting is followed when Valve Appearance 2 is set to Show Flanged as per Spec and the Pipe Spec is set to OFF.
In this situation, the option Place Flanged Valves will display all valves with flanges, and the option Place Valves without Flanges will result in all valves inserted without flanges. |
|
Valve Appearance 2 |
When the option Flanges Never Shown is selected, all valves placed will not have flanges, regardless of what the Valve Appearance 1 option and the Pipe Spec toggle is.
When the Option Show Flanges as per Spec is selected, the appearance of the valves will depend on whether the Pipe Spec toggle is on. |
