Disable Default LTSCALE Setting

When this is OFF, the value in the next line is used as the LTSCALE value.  When this is ON, the LTSCALE system variable of the drawing template will be used.

LTSCALE

This is AutoCAD’s LTSCALE system variable that sets the global linetype scale factor.  The smaller the scale, the more repetitions of the pattern that are generated per drawing unit. For example, with a setting of 0.5, two repetitions of the pattern in the linetype definition are displayed for each drawing unit.

Cable ID Scale Factor

The overall height of the Cable Tag text height.  The height will be the scale factor entered multiplied by 0.5”.

Instrument Balloon Scale

The height of the Instrument Balloon.

Fence Scale Factor

The overall height of the “X” symbols on the line created when using the Fence routine.  The height will be the scale factor entered multiplied by 0.5”.

Fence Spacing Scale Factor

The distance between the “X” symbols on the line created when using the Fence routine.

Wire Shield Line Spacing

The width of the wire shield component.

Terminal Block Spacing

The height of each terminal block cell.

Terminal Block Wire Chamfer Distance

AutoCAD defines “The chamfer distance is the amount each object is trimmed or extended to meet the chamfer line or to intersect the other.”  This value is related to the chamfer that is automatically drawn on terminal block wires.

Terminal Block Wiring Tag Text Spacing

The spacing that will be added on either side of the wire numbers when the Wire Numbering routine is used.

Arrow, Union, Seal Scale

Unions and seals are only available in Layout mode.  The length of the seal and the height of the union will be the defined value multiplied by the drawing scale.

For arrows, the defined value describes the length of the arrow.

Miscellaneous Blocks Scale

This scale factor will be used to size a variety of components that do not have their own unique scale factor.

Unit Heater, Vent Motor, Horz Motor, Flood Light Scale

The size of the Unit Heater, Vent Motor, Horizontal Motor and Flood Light symbols will be the size of the original block multiplied by the scale factor defined in this parameter.

Conduit Up/Down Scale

The size of the Conduit Up and Conduit Down symbol will be the size of the original block multiplied by the scale factor defined in this parameter.  Conduit Up and Down are only available in Layout mode and are ˝” in diameter.

Motor Starter Scale

The size of Motor Starter symbol will be the size of the original block multiplied by the scale factor defined in this parameter.  Motor Starters are only available in Layout mode and is ˝” in size.

Emergency Light, Fluorescent Light, Conduit Fitting Scale

The size of the Emergency Light, Flourescent Light and Conduit Fitting symbol will be the size of the original block multiplied by the scale factor defined in this parameter.

Add Continuation Ends Scale

This is the height of the continuation ends.
