Use this utility to import specs you may have from previous 2D DESIGNER applications.

To import specs…

  1. In the Main Menu, click Spec Utilities. The Spec Utilities dialog box appears.

  2. Click the Import tab.

  3. Click the Import button.

The Browse for Folder dialog box appears.

  1. Choose a spec folder to import, and then click OK.

A Spec Generator dialog box appears with a message saying the spec was successfully imported.

The imported spec appears in the Current Specs list.

Ø Note: The spec is not usable in a standard until you use the Standard Manager and select the spec.
