Changing AutoCAD versions

When AutoELECTRIC, AutoFLOW, AutoISO, or AutoORTHO are started, they will automatically open the AutoCAD version selected in the Setup Maintenance application.  If multiple AutoCAD editions are installed on the computer, the user may switch between them.

To use a different AutoCAD version...

1.       Open the Setup Maintenance dialog box using the shortcut in the 2D DESIGNER folder.

2.       Click the down arrow to the left of the drop down box.  Only AutoCAD versions that are compatible with the current 2D DESIGNER edition will be displayed.

For example, 2D DESIGNER version 2007 is not compatible with AutoCAD 2004.  So, even if AutoCAD 2004 is installed alongside AutoCAD 2007, the Setup Maintenance application will not display it as an option.

3.       Right click on the desired AutoCAD version.

4.       Click the OK button to close the Setup Maintenance application and accept the change.
