License Service Options Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to view and set the time settings for the license service. This dialog box displays:

In the License Manager dialog box, click the Options button.

In this field…	Do this…
Query Buffer	Drag the tab to the right to increase the Query Buffer time or drag the tab to the left to decrease the Query Buffer time. The Query Buffer is the frequency that the application communicates with the License Server to indicate that the license is still in use. This should be less than 50% of the Network Timeout setting.
Network Timeout	Drag the tab to the right to increase the Network Timeout time or drag the tab to the left to decrease the Network Timeout time. The Network Timeout is the amount of time that needs to elapse before an inactive application will return or lose its license. The internal count up is reset to zero every time that the license is queried.
OK	Click to accept the current settings and to close the dialog box and return to the License Manager dialog box.
Close	Click to close the dialog box and return to the License Manager dialog box.
