Inserting a Plant Grid

This tool uses Digitize buttons. See Using the Digitize Buttons.

1. From the Civil Drafting tab, select Draw Plant Grid Lines.

The Draw Plant Grid dialog box appears.

2. In this dialog box, do the following:

In this…	Do this…
Insertion Point X and Y input boxes	Type the coordinates, or click Digitize and click in the drawing to set the insertion point
Distance in X Axis and Distance in Y Axis input boxes	Type the distance values, or click Digitize and click in the drawing to set the distance
Column Spacing input box	Type the column spacing value, or click Digitize and click in the drawing to set the column spacing
Row Spacing input box	Type the row spacing value, or click Digitize and click in the drawing to set the row spacing
Grid Linetype options	Select the required line type setting

3. Click Draw Plant Grid. The grid appears in the drawing.
