Inserting a Ladder in Plan View

1. From the Civil Drafting tab, select Ladder.

The Ladder dialog box appears.

2. In this dialog box, do the following:

In this…	Do this…
Orientation options	Select Plan View
Attach Ladder to Vertical Vessel options	Select Yes to attach the ladder to a vertical vessel, or No to attach it to a different structure
Add Ladder Cage options	Select Yes to insert a ladder cage with the ladder, or No to insert only the ladder

3. Click OK.

4. In the drawing, click to select the ladder location.

5. Click to select the ladder side.

The Ladder Width and Clearance dialog box appears.

6. Choose one of the following options:

The ladder appears in the drawing.
