Inserting a Flange in Plan View

To add a flange for a riser (or elbow going down)… …

1.   From the Flanges tab, select Flange in Plan View.

The Flange in Plan View Pipe Size dialog box appears.

2.   From the scroll list, select the required pipe size.

3.   Click OK.

4.   In the drawing, click to select the center point of the flange.

The Flange in Plan View dialog box appears.

5.   From the options, select Yes or No.

• Click Yes to insert a full circle. Use when inserting an elbow section in ‘up’ view

•  Click No to insert a circle trimmed around the pipe. Use when inserting an elbow in ‘down’ view

6.   Click OK.

If you clicked Yes, the flange appears in the drawing.

7.   If you clicked No, click in the drawing to select the elbow direction.

The flange appears in the drawing.
