Inserting Vertical Vessels in Plan View

To insert a vertical vessel in plan view…

1.   From the Equipment tab, select Vertical Vessel.

The Vertical Vessel dialog box appears.

2.   In this dialog box, do the following:

Orientation options

Select Plan View

Add Centerlines options

Select Yes to insert center lines with the vessel or No to insert the vessel without center lines

Center Point X and Y input boxes

Type the coordinates for the vessel’s center point, or click Digitize and click in the drawing to set the vessel’s center point

Outside Radius input box

Type the radius value, or click Digitize and click in the drawing to set the vessel’s radius

Add Octagonal Base options

Select Yes to add a base, or click No to insert the vessel without the base

If you click Yes, in the Base Radius box, type the radius value or click Digitize and click in the drawing to set the base radius

3.   Click Draw Vessel.

The vessel appears in the drawing.
