Inserting Supports for a Horizontal Vessel

This procedure is a sub-procedure of Inserting Horizontal Vessels. You must add supports when inserting the vessel; you cannot add them independently later.

To insert supports…

1.   From the Add Supports options on the Vessels dialog box, select Yes.

The Vessel Supports dialog box appears.

2.   In the input boxes, type the required dimension values.

Refer to the diagram to the right of the input boxes for more information.

3.   Click OK.

4.   In the drawing, click where you want to insert the seam center point.

5.   Click to select the vessel’s direction.

The vessel and support appear in the drawing.
