Inserting Steel Column Identification Balloons

Use this procedure to insert a column identification balloon to identify the column numbers.

To insert a column identification balloon…

1.   From the Civil Drafting tab, select Column I.D. Balloon.

2.   In the drawing, click the line where you want to insert the balloon. This line must be a polyline.

The Column I.D. Balloon Text dialog box appears.

3.   In the input box, type the text you want to appear in the balloon.

4.   Click OK.

The balloon appears in the drawing.
