1. From the Civil Drafting tab, select Stairs.

The Stairs dialog box appears.

2. In this dialog box, do the following:

Select Elevation |

Select Front to insert the stairs in front view, or Side to insert stairs in side view |

Stair Direction options |
Select Up to insert the stairs going up from the insertion point, or Down to insert the stairs going down from the insertion point |
3. Click OK.
4. In the drawing, click to select the stair’s center point on the starting level.
The Stairs vertical distance and width dialog box appears.

5. In this dialog box, do the following:

Vertical Distance Between Levels input box |
Type a distance value, or click Digitize and click in the drawing to set the distance |

Vertical Distance Width of Stairs input box |
Accept the default value, or type a new value, or click Digitize and click in the drawing to set the stair width |
6. Click Draw Stairs.
The stairs appear in the drawing.
The Stairs Data Used in Calculations notification box appears.

7. Click OK.
