Inserting Insulation in Double Line Mode

To insert insulation in double line drafting mode…

1.   From the Miscellaneous tab, select Pipe Insulation.

The Select Main Pipe Size for Insulation dialog box appears.

2.   From the scroll list, select the required pipe size.

3.   Click OK.

The cursor changes to a square.

4.   In the drawing, click one side of the pipe outline where you want to insert the center point of the insulation.

5.   Click the other side of the pipe outline.

The Pipe Insulation-Thickness dialog box appears.

6.   In the input box, type the pipe insulation thickness value.

7.   Click OK.

The pipe insulation appears in the drawing. The thickness value appears inside the insulation symbol.

8.   Move the pipe’s info block outside the insulation symbol.
