Use this tool to change the text heights and block scaling for the current drawing.

1.   From the Utilities tab, select Change Scale in Model Space.

The Select Drawing Scale dialog box appears.

2.   In this dialog box, do one of the following:

• Click the required drawing scale

• Click User Specified

3.   Click OK.

If you click User Specified, the User Specified Scale dialog box appears.

4.   In the input box, type the scale value required.

5.   Click OK.

For both preset and user specified scale values, the Select Option for Scale Change dialog box appears.

6.   From the scale change options, select one of the following:

• Select Global to change all text and block scales in the drawing

• Select Window to change text and blocks within a selected window

• Select Crossing to change text and blocks in any items within or crossing the boundaries of a selected window

7.   Click OK.

If you selected Global, the changes appear in the drawing.

8.   If you selected Window or Crossing, click in the drawing twice to select the upper left and lower right corners of the selection window.

All text and blocks in or crossing that window change to the new scale.
