Inserting a Control Valve Actuator Manually

When the valve stem toggle is active, a dialog box usually prompts you to insert an actuator when you insert the control valve. See Valve Stem Toggle.

To manually insert a control valve actuator…

1.   From the Valves tab, select Control Valve Actuator.

2.   In the drawing, click to select the center point.

3.   Click to select the stem direction.

4.   Click to select the actuator direction.

The actuator appears in the drawing.
