When the Valve Stem toggle is active, a dialog box prompts you to insert stems after placing a valve.

Use this procedure to insert valve stems manually.

To insert a valve stem…

1.   From the Valves tab, select Valve Stem.

2.   In the drawing, click to select the valve's center point.

3.   Click to select the stem direction.

4.   Click to select the hand wheel direction.

The Stem dialog box appears.

5.   From the options, select the valve type.

6.   Click OK.

The stem appears in the drawing.
