To insert a diaphragm valve…

1.   From the Miscellaneous Valves tab, select Diaphragm.

The Diaphragm Valve dialog box appears.

2.   In this dialog box, do the following:

Description input box

Accept the default description, or type a new description

Material input box

Type a material designation value

Catalog Number input box

Type the valve’s catalog number if applicable

Manufacturer input box

Type the name of valve’s manufacturer

Tag input box

Type the valve’s tag designation; if you do not enter a value here, another dialog box will prompt you for the information later

Schedule input box

Type the valve’s schedule information

Destination options 

Set the valve’s destination information to Shop or Field

3.   Click OK.

If you did not enter a value in the Tag input box, the Valve Tag-Tag Text dialog box appears. Type a tag value and click OK.

4.   In the drawing, click the line where you want to insert the diaphragm valve.

The valve appears in the drawing.

AutoFLOW inserts an INFO block in the valve containing the information you supplied in Step 2.
