Inserting Inline Equipment

You can insert the following inline equipment symbols: jacketed pipe, dampers (or louvers), inline mixers, and flame arrestors.

To insert inline equipment…

1.   From the Miscellaneous Equipment tab, select the required inline equipment button.

2.   In the drawing, click the line where you want to insert the equipment. AutoFLOW breaks the line and inserts the equipment.

If an inline equipment block is direction sensitive, the Equipment/Instruments dialog box appears.

3.   In this dialog box, do one of the following:

• Click OK to insert the equipment in the current default direction

•  Click Reverse to reverse the direction of the equipment

4.   Click the OK button.

The equipment appears in the direction selected above.

If you insert inline equipment without selecting a line, the following message dialog box appears.

5.   Click OK.

6.   In the drawing, click where you want to insert the inline equipment symbol.

7.   Click to set the direction.

The symbol appears in the drawing.
