Inserting Direction Sensitive Valves

Use this procedure to insert direction sensitive valves such as check valves, butterfly valves (appearance only), and 3-way valves.

1.   From the Valves tab, select the appropriate valve type.

2.   In the drawing, click the line where you want to insert the valve.

The valve appears in the drawing.

The Valve Direction dialog box appears.

3.   Under Valve Direction, select one of the following options:

• Click OK to insert the valve in the current direction

• Click Reverse to reverse the valve direction

4.   Click the OK button.

The valve appears in the direction selected above.
