Inserting Custom Valves

1. Create or insert the custom valve image in the drawing.

2. From the Miscellaneous Valves tab, select Valve Info Block.

3. In the drawing, click the center of the custom valve image.

The Add Valve Info Block dialog box appears.

4. In this dialog box, do the following:

In this…	Do this…
Size, Spec Name and Pipe Rating input boxes	Accept the current setting, or click Select [Size, Spec, Rating] and select a new setting from the list
Destination options	Set the valves destination setting to Shop or Field
Line Number input box	Type the line number to which the valve belongs
Valve Description input box	Type a description for the custom valve
Material input box	Type the material designation for the valve
Weight input box	Type the valve’s weight value
Manufacturer input box	Type the manufacturer’s name
Valve Tag input box	Type the value you want to appear in the valve tag

5. Click OK.

The custom valve INFO block appears in the center of the valve image.
