Equipment Description Block 

This block describes equipment placed in the drawing. It includes the number and name of equipment, as well as the size and design specifications.

To add an equipment description block to the drawing…

1.   From the Utilities tab, select Equipment Description.

2.   In the drawing, click where you want to insert the block.

The Equipment Description dialog box appears.

3.   In the input boxes, type the equipment number and description details.

4.   In the Underline Vessel Number and Name options, do one of the following:

• Click Yes to underline the text

• Click No to leave the text plain

5.   Click OK.

The equipment description block appears in the drawing.
