If you click Yes under Number Terminals when inserting the terminal block, AutoELECTRIC automatically numbers the terminal.

Use this procedure number an existing non-numbered terminal block.

To add numbers to a non-numbered terminal block…

  1. From the Terminal Blocks tab, select Terminal Block Numbering.


  1. In the drawing, click the first terminal block.

The Terminal Numbering dialog box appears.

Starting Number input box

Type the number at which you want the terminal numbering to start

Increment input box 

Type the value by which you want the terminal numbering to increase

Prefix input box

Type the numbering prefix if required

Suffix input box

Type the numbering suffix if required

Wire Terminals options

Click Yes to wire the terminals

Click No to leave them unwired

  1. Click OK.

The new terminal numbers appear in the drawing.

If you click Yes under Wire Terminals, go to Step 2 of Terminal Block Wiring below.
