Motors are inline symbols that appear at the end of the selected line.

To insert motors…

  1. From the Single Line Diagram Equipment tab, select Synchronous Motor or Motor.

The Synchronous Motor or Motor dialog box appears. The Synchronous Motor dialog box appears in this example.

  1. In the input boxes, type the size and rating values.

  2. Click OK.

  3. In the drawing, click near the end of the line where you want to insert the motor.

The motor appears in the drawing at the end of the selected line.
