To insert windows in elevation view, first draw a building floor line.
From the Civil tab, select Building Window.

The Window dialog box appears.

Under Orientation, click Elevation.
Under Window Type, select one of the following:
Click Single to insert a single frame window
Click Double to insert a double frame window
Click OK.
In the drawing, click the outside corner of the building closest to where you want to insert the window.
For single windows, the Window-Distance to Center of Window dialog box appears.
For double windows, the Window-Distance to Center of Double Windows dialog box appears.
In the Window dialog box, do one of the following:
Type the distance from the corner of the building to the center of the window and click OK
Click Digitize and click in the drawing to set the distance value
The AutoELECTRIC Settings notification box appears.

Click OK.
In the drawing, click the building floor outline.
The Window-Height and Width dialog box appears.

In this dialog box, do the following:

Accept the default value, or type a new value, or click Digitize and click in the drawing to set the distance |

Type the width of the window, or click Digitize and click in the drawing to set the width |

Type the height of the window from the sill to the top of the window, or click Digitize and click in the drawing to set the height |
Click OK.
The window appears in the drawing.
