Inserting Dimension Strings

To insert dimensioning…

  1. From the Utilities tab, select Multiple Dimensioning.

 

  1. In the drawing, click where you want to start the dimension string (origin point).

  2. Click to select the second dimension point.

The first two points determine whether the dimensioning appears as horizontal, vertical or aligned.

  1. Click to select all required dimension points for the current dimension string.

  2. Press Enter to end the string.

  3. In the drawing, click where you want to insert the dimension text line.

The dimension lines and text appear in the drawing.
