Inserting Area Classification Drawings

You can create and access up to five area classification drawing blocks to reflect your company standards. You can insert these blocks into the drawing using the tool buttons on the Area Classification tab.

You can insert these blocks in layout mode only. 

To insert an area classification drawing…

1. Create an area classification block drawing. Refer to AutoCAD’s online help for information on how to create blocks.

2. Save the block drawing in the [Project]\Borders directory using the following naming convention:

 ACB_1.DWG through ACB_5.DWG

3. Add the description of the block to Area Classification Blocks.

4. From the Area Classification tab, select the appropriate tool button.

5. In the drawing, click where you want to insert the block.

The block appears in the drawing.
