Duplex and Single Receptacles

These receptacle symbols are available for layout drawings only.

Receptacles are independent symbols and you can insert them anywhere in the drawing.

To insert a duplex or single receptacle…

  1. From the Receptacles tab, select Duplex Receptacle or Single Receptacle.


  or 

  1. In the drawing, click where you want to insert the receptacle.

The [Duplex or Single] Receptacle orientation dialog box appears.

  1. Under Orientation, click the required orientation setting.

  2. Click OK.

The receptacle appears in the drawing in the orientation selected above.

The [Duplex or Single] Receptacle dialog box appears.

  1. In the input boxes, type the required size and circuit tag values.

  2. Click OK.

  3. In the drawing, click where you want to insert the size tag.

The size tag appears in the drawing.

  1. Click where you want to insert the circuit tag.

The circuit tag appears in the drawing.
