You can insert a building outline in plan view only.
From the Civil tab, select Building Outline.
The Building dialog box appears.
In this dialog box, do the following:

Type coordinates in the input boxes, or click
Digitize and click in the drawing to select
the coordinates |

Distance in X Axis and Distance in Y Axis input boxes |
Type the building outline distance values, or click Digitize and click in the drawing to select the distance |

Building Width input box (width of wall) |
Type the building outline width value, or click Digitize and click in the drawing to select the width value |
|
Rotation Angle input box |
Type the buildings rotation angle, or click Digitize and click in the drawing to select the angle |
Click Draw Building.
The building outline appears in the drawing.
