Multiple Cable Tags

To insert a multiple cable tag…

1. From the Miscellaneous Symbols tag, select Multiple Cable Tag.

2. In the drawing, click the line where you want to insert the tag.

3. Click to select the line closest to the tag location (click the same point as the previous step to get a perpendicular line).

4. Click where you want to insert the first cable tag.

5. Press Enter.

The Cable Tag Insertion Point dialog box appears.

6. From the insertion options, select the required tag orientation.

7. Click OK.

The Multiple Cable Tag dialog box appears.

8. In this dialog box, do one of the following:

• In the text input box, type the text you want to appear in the tag and click OK; the tag appears in the drawing

• Click Blank Line to insert a blank tag; the blank tag appears in the drawing

• Click End Process to exit the tool
