Multi-position switches are inline symbols.

Use this procedure to insert the following switches:

Button

Button Name

Three Position Selector Switch

Two Position Selector Switch

Multi-Position Switch

To insert a multi-position switch…

  1. From the Control Schematics Controls tab, select the required switch tool.

The cursor changes to a square.

  1. In the drawing, click the line where you want to insert the switch.

The [Name of Switch] dialog box appears. The Multi-Position dialog box appears in this example.

  1. In the Position input boxes, type the required values.

  2. Click OK.

The switch appears in the drawing.
