Use this procedure when inserting cross or tee cable tray components while using AutoRoute.

To insert a branching component while using AutoRoute…

  1. From the Cable Tray tab, select Cross or Tee.

The Cross or Tee dialog box appears.

  1. Set the required options.

  2. Click OK.

  3. In the drawing, click to set the cross or tee branch direction.

Colored arrows appear in the drawing, indicating the available directions.

The [Cross or Tee] Direction dialog box appears.

  1. From the options, select the direction in which you want to continue adding components.

  2. Click OK to continue inserting components.

  3. When you finish adding fittings to one branch, disable AutoRoute, enable it again, and add fittings to another branch.
