Diodes are inline symbols.

To insert a diode…

1. From the Control Schematics Power tab, select Diode.
    

The cursor changes to a square.

2. In the drawing, click the line where you want to insert the diode.

The diode appears in the drawing.

The Symbol Orientation dialog box appears.

3. Choose one of the following options:

• Click OK to accept the current diode direction

• Click Reverse to reverse the diode direction

4. Click the OK button.

The diode appears in the direction selected above.
