
This menu appears when you right-click on the main Specs directory heading in the Explorer pane.

This menu appears when you right-click on a specification name, such as Spec A, in the Explorer pane. Note that some options are not available for the default specifications provided with 3DSMART as they are not modifiable.

Open a sub-menu where you can choose from the following options: Select for add opens the Component type tree dialog box where you can select component types to add. All from library adds all component types in the library to the selected spec. All from spec allows you to add component types based on an existing specification. |

Add groups |
Add component groups to the spec. This command contains the same sub-menu options as Add types. |

Rename |
Edit the selected spec name. |

Hide |
Open the sub-menu where you can select Local persistence to remove the selected specification from the tree, or Server persistence to hide the selected specification from all users who access it from a server. |

Delete |
Remove component types and groups from the selected node in the tree. |
|
Create like |
Open the first page of the Create spec wizard with the Create like checkbox activated. |

Add components |
Open the sub-menu where you can select from the following options: Add all (merge) adds all components in the component library to the selected spec. Copy all from spec copies components from an existing spec, overwriting any existing component data in the spec. Merge all from spec adds component data from an existing spec but will not overwrite existing data. |

Remove components |
Remove component from the specification but leave the component directory structure in place. |
|
Find |
Open the Find component tree node dialog box where you can search for a component node using its ID number. |

Regenerate |
Regenerate the specification and remove empty type and group folders. |
|
Refresh |
Refresh the specifications tree. |
|
Properties |
Open the Spec properties dialog box displaying the Spec properties tab. |
This menu appears when you right-click on a component type name, such as Flanges, or any of its subdirectories such as Weld Neck and Flat Face, in the spec directory tree of the Explorer pane. Note that some options are not available for the default specifications provided with 3D SMART as they are not modifiable.
