Editing a Specification Material

Use this procedure to edit basic information for any specification material.

To edit a material...

1.   Double-click on a specification in the Explorer.

The Spec properties dialog box opens.

2.   Click the Spec properties tab.

3.   In the material list, double-click the material you want to edit.

The Edit spec material dialog box appears.

4.   Revise any of the following data:

• material name

•  material code

• assigned color

5.   Click OK to apply changes and close the Edit spec material dialog box, OR click Apply to apply changes and leave the dialog box open.
