
Use these procedures to add, remove, or edit manufacturers in the database.
1. From the Tools menu, select Manage manufacturers.
The Manage manufacturers dialog box appears and displays a list of all manufacturers.
2. Right click and select Add button from the context menu.
3. The cursor moves to a new, blank row in the table.
4. Type the name of new manufacturer.
5. Double-click Manufacturer name to open the Properties dialog and type a code (if required). Click OK when you are done.

6. Click OK to save the new manufacturer and close the dialog box, OR Apply to save the new manufacturer without closing the dialog box.
1. From the Tools menu, select Manage manufacturers.
The Manage manufacturers dialog box appears and displays a list of all manufacturers.
2. Click the manufacturer you want to remove.
A dashed border appears around the manufacturer.
3. Right-click the manufacturer name to view the pop-up menu.
4. Select Remove. A warning appears.
5. Click Yes to remove the manufacturer and associated code from the database.

3. Type a new name for the manufacturer.
4. Click OK to save the new name and close the dialog box, or Apply to save the new name without closing the dialog box.
Ø Note: You can change the code for a manufacturer by double-clicking in the associated code box and typing a new code.
