Specification Manager Window

The Specification Manager window contains four panes:

§         Explorer pane

§         Data pane

§   Preview pane

§   Property pane

The Explorer pane opens when you open the Specification Manager. It contains an organized structure of folders (component types, sub-folders, and associated component groups. It also contains an organized structure of specifications and associated components types and groups.

The Data pane opens when you select a Component Group from the Explorer. It displays all components and specifications for the selected component group.

The Preview pane opens when you select a component group from the Explorer. It displays a two-dimensional drawing of the selected component.

The Property pane, beside the Preview pane, displays icons that provide quick access to Quick Info.
