Sets of Materials Tab

Use this tab of the Materials editor dialog box to create and edit set of materials.

Ø Tip: Scroll down for field information.

To access this dialog box...

1. From the Tools menu, select Manage materials.
Alternately, right-click any component type or group in the Component Explorer tree and then select Manage materials from the pop-up menu.

The Materials editor dialog box appears.

Ø Tip: If you access the Materials editor using the Tools menu you can work with materials sets for all design libraries. If you access by right-clicking on a component type or group, you can only work with materials sets for the design library open in Component Explorer.

2. Click the Sets of material tab.

In this field...	Do this...
Design library	Use this drop-down list to select the design library you want to work with. Note: This list is only available if you access the dialog box using the Tools menu.
Remove Button	Click this button to remove the materials set that currently appears in the Set of material drop-down list.
Edit Button	Click the button to access the Edit set of materials dialog box where you can change the name of the currently selected set of materials.
Add Button	Click this button to access the Add set of materials dialog box where you can type a name for a new set of materials.
Add>>	Click this button to add selected items from the Materials selected list to the Materials available list. Note: This button is only active if you select items in the Materials selected list.
<<Remove	Click this button to remove selected items from the Materials available list. Note: This button is only active if you select items in the Materials available list.
Remove all	Click this button to remove all items from the Materials available list. Note: This button is only active if you select an item in the Materials available list.
Select all	Click this button to select all items from the Materials available list. Note: This button is only active if you select an item in the Materials available list.
Unselect	Click this button to unselect all items currently selected in the Materials available list.
OK	Click this button to apply changes to the database and close the dialog box.
Cancel	Click this button to abort the current task without updating the database.
Apply	Click this button to apply current changes to the database.
