You can modify component data that appears in white or yellow cells. You cannot modify data that appears in gray cells.

Ø    Warning: If you modify component data you also modify the component database. This may have a significant impact on existing drawings. If you are uncertain about the impact of modifying this data, consult with your project administrator.

Ø    Important: Table property data (data that binds to property tables in the component database) appears in yellow shaded cells.

Ø      Custom data appears in white cells and is always in bold font. Custom data is not associated with a property table.

To modify yellow cells (table property data) you must use the Component Designer application.

To modify cells to contain custom data...

1.   Double-click the cell containing data to modify. It can be either a yellow cell or a white cell.

The current value appears highlighted.

2.   Type a new value.

3.   Press Enter.

The new value appears in bold text in a white cell. The database updates automatically.
