Editing a Specification Name or Description

You can change the name or description of a specification at any time. Changing the name of a specification does not negatively impact projects and designs developed using the specification.

To edit a specification name or description...

1.   In the Specification Explorer, double-click the specification name.

The Spec properties dialog box appears.

2.   Type a new name for the specification, or type a new description.

3.   Click OK to change the name or description and close the dialog box, or click Apply to change the name or description without close the dialog box.

Ø  Note: You can also change the specification name by right-clicking on it (in the Specification Explorer), and selecting Rename from the menu.
