Editing a Commodity

You can edit basic information for any commodity in a specification.

To edit a commodity...

1.   Double-click on a specification in the Explorer pane.

The Spec properties dialog box opens.

2.   Click the Service/Commodity tab.

3.   From the Commodity table drop-down list select the commodity table you want to edit.

4.   Click the All commodities option.

This displays all commodities in the current table. Commodities with check marks are included in the current specification.

5.   Double-click the commodity you want to edit.

The Edit commodity dialog box appears.

6.   Edit any of the following data:

• commodity name

• commodity code

• assigned color

• category or type

7.   Choose one of the following:

• Click OK to apply changes and close the Edit commodity dialog box.

• Click Apply to apply changes and leave the dialog box open.

• Click Cancel to exit the dialog box without saving the changes.
