Material Editors Dialog Box

Use he Materials editor dialog box to input and edit the materials master list entries.

To access this dialog tab...

1. From the Tools menu, select Manage materials.
Alternately, right-click any component type or group in the Component Explorer tree and then select Manage materials from the pop-up menu.

The Materials editor dialog box appears.

Ø Tip: If you access the Materials editor using the Tools menu you can work with materials sets for all design libraries. If you access by right-clicking on a component type or group, you can only work with materials sets for the design library open in Component Explorer.

In this field...	Enter/Do this...
Design library	Use this drop-down list to select the design library you want to work with. Note: This list is only available if you access the dialog box using the Tools menu.
Group	Use this drop-down list to select the material group you wish to work with.
Material	Type or edit the name of the material. Note: You cannot enter a new material or description until you click the New button.
OK	Click this button to apply changes to the database and close the dialog box.
Cancel	Click this button to abort the current task without updating the database.
Apply	Click this button to apply current changes to the database.
