Components in Spec Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to add or remove individual components from a specification.

1. In the Explorer, right-click the component group to which you want to add components.

2. From the right-click menu, select Add components > Select for add.

The Components in Spec dialog box appears.

In this field...		Enter/Do this...
Component type drop-down list		Click to view the component type’s tree structure in the specification.
Component group drop-down list		Click to view a list of component groups for the selected component type.
	Menu button	Click to view a menu where you can use automated features to include or exclude components from the current specification.
Components not in spec list		View a list of components not included in the specification (for the current group only)
Components in spec list		View a list of components included in the specification (for the current group only)
Arrow buttons		Click to move components from one list to the other. Double arrows (>> or <<) move all components listed.
OK		Click to save changes to the database and close the dialog box.
Cancel		Click to close the dialog box without saving changes.
Apply		Click to save changes to the database without closing the dialog box.
